Your conversations with your CEC counselor/therapist will always be confidential and nonjudgmental. When you first meet your therapist, they will likely ask what brings you to CEC, what you hope to get out of counseling, and what problems or issues you are facing. The ongoing goal is to focus counseling and therapy on your needs. If specialized treatment is recommended, your therapist will discuss that with you. You will see the same therapist for each session (approximately 45 min each). We trust that you’ll feel welcomed and comfortable here at CEC. If you have questions or concerns at any point, please be sure to ask.

Rocky Mountain Health Plans, United, Blue Cross, Cigna (Call to Confirm).

When possible, we work with a variety of community payment programs to help cover care when insurance doesn’t. These programs include Victim’s Compensation and the Second Wind Fund. Our front desk can support you in accessing these programs if eligible.

We strive to make therapy affordable to all, which is why we also accept payments on a sliding scale based on income. Please ask if you are eligible for our income-based sliding scale.

Our full fee for counseling is $115 for a 1-hour session. This fee supports not only your personal growth, but access to care for others not able to afford it.

What Our Clients Say

My weekly sessions at the Counseling & Education Center helped me to focus on the underlying issues at hand. I felt safe, understood, and hopeful with the various techniques used in my tailored healing process…I learned to forgive myself for heinous acts that I sustained at the hands of horrible people. The shame and pain slowly diminished and I became stronger and more confident…I learned what it is to value myself.
